The Tekuani Binay

A Micro-Nation

About the Tekuani Binay a Tribal Micro-Nation.

U N D R I P -  The United Nations Declarations on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples!!!

What is the Tekuani Binay a Tribal Micro-Nation?

The Tekuani Binay a Tribal Micro-Nation got its start from the late Great Chief Jerry Eaglefeather Monroe of the Binay Yeha Noha Nation. “The word Binay is an Adoptive word which stands for Black Indians, Melungeon & Inter-tribal American Indian Group. Our tribal group has been around since the late 70's. The tribal group formed officially in 1985 and has been the pioneers of the history and culture and the struggles of Black Native Americans. Our goal is to educate and teach our heritage and culture to those who have no home but belong to a mixed group of Natives who are indigenous. And we want to share with those who are willing to listen. Please don't be mistaken, we are not a wannabee group nor are we hobbyist. We are actual mixed blood American Indians. We are mixed bloods but not mixed up, we know who we are and hope to educate those who do not fully understand who we are. We've given a home and a place for those like us who are not recognized tribally but want to be recognized. We realize that the many needs of the government to validate them, we validate ourselves instead. And we stand strong in this mind set without fear or shame. We believe our Creator made us who we are, and we honor that!” (Author: Honoring the Great Chief Eaglefeather)

Our mission

Our mission is to bring all the tribal nations together in Peace and Harmony! We want to be a beacon of hope for so many displace indigenous people in the America’s. Education is a key component of this mission as well as community service for our tribal families. With the Creator and the Ancestors help we will complete the task and move our Tribal Binay forward for the next 7 generations.
